Privacy Policy

This policy explains what ListicleBacklinks does with data — both the data you give us when you buy access, and the publicly published data that makes up the database itself. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
1. What we collect
We collect only what is needed to sell and deliver access:

We never see your card details. Payment is handled entirely by our payment provider. Your card number does not pass through our servers and we could not store it if we wanted to.
2. How we use it
- To give you access to the product you paid for.
- To email you about your purchase — receipts, access details, and issues affecting your account.
- To send occasional product updates. Every such email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects your access.
- To meet our tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. Your email is not added to any list we do not control.
3. About the listicle database
The product is a database of publicly published articles. It records the article, its publisher, the products it names, and the contact routes the publisher has chosen to make public — a contact email printed on their website, a contact form, a media-kit page, and the public profile of the person credited as author.
All of it comes from pages that are publicly accessible and indexed by search engines. We do not guess or generate email addresses from name patterns, we do not access anything behind a login, and we do not scrape private profile data from LinkedIn or X — we record only the public profile URL a publisher has already linked from its own article.
If you are a publisher or author and want your details removed, email us and we will remove them from the database and from future crawls. We will confirm once it is done. No justification is required.
Subscribers use this data for business outreach. Anyone contacting people found through this database is responsible for their own compliance with applicable marketing law, including GDPR, CAN-SPAM and PECR. Our Terms & Conditions set that out in full.
4. Cookies and analytics
This website sets no advertising cookies and no tracking cookies.
We store a single value in your browser's local storage to remember your cookie choice, so you are not asked again on every visit. That value never leaves your device.
If you accept analytics, we load Plausible Analytics, which is cookie-free, does not collect personal data, and does not track people across sites. It tells us which pages get read and where visitors arrived from — nothing about individuals. If you decline, no analytics script is loaded at all.
5. Who processes your data

Each is contractually bound to process data only on our instructions. We do not add processors that require selling or sharing your data.
6. How long we keep it
- Purchase records — kept for as long as your lifetime licence is valid, and afterwards for the period tax law requires.
- Email address — until you ask us to delete it or unsubscribe and request removal.
- Server logs — rotated within 30 days.
- Analytics — aggregate only; nothing tied to a person, so nothing to delete.
7. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Access — get a copy of what we hold about you.
- Correct — fix anything inaccurate.
- Delete — remove your personal data, subject to records we must keep for tax purposes.
- Export — receive your data in a portable format.
- Object — stop us using your data for a given purpose.
Email us and we will respond within 30 days. We will not ask why, and exercising any of these rights will never affect the access you paid for.
If you are in the UK or EU and unhappy with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
8. Security
- The site and app are served over HTTPS only; insecure requests are redirected.
- No API keys or credentials are present in anything sent to your browser.
- Card data never touches our systems.
- Access to the production database is limited to the operator of this service.
No system is perfectly secure. If we ever discover a breach affecting your personal data, we will tell affected users promptly and describe what happened plainly.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy materially — new processors, new categories of data — we will update the date at the top and email anyone with an active licence. Minor clarifications will simply be dated.
